The Keuka Lake Amateur Radio Association (KLARA) is a welcoming community of amateur radio operators who share a passion for communication, learning, and public service. Whether you’re a newly licensed ham or a seasoned operator, KLARA offers opportunities to grow your skills, stay active on the air, and connect with fellow hams who enjoy radio as much as you do.
KLARA is more than just a radio club—we’re a group of people who enjoy helping each other learn, stay connected, and keep amateur radio thriving in our community. Participation is encouraged at every level, and new members are always supported.

MembershiP & Dues Information
Annual membership in the Keuka Lake Amateur Radio Association (KLARA) is just $20 per year, and that includes all members of your immediate family living in the same household.
Your dues help support club operations, meeting space, equipment, repeater maintenance, licensing sessions, community service activities, and special events throughout the year.
We believe amateur radio is best enjoyed together — and KLARA membership makes it easy and affordable for the whole family to get involved.
KLARA’s membership year runs from September 1 through August 31. and are collected in August, which allows members to participate in voting for the Board of Directors at the September meeting. Please note that dues are not prorated for partial-year memberships.

Who Can Join?
Anyone with an interest in amateur radio communications is welcome to become a KLARA member! While all members are encouraged to participate in club activities, only licensed amateur radio operators are eligible to vote on corporate matters or hold an officer position.
