2026 KLARA Simplex Challenge – May 9th!
The Keuka Lake Amateur Radio Association is pleased to announce the return of our annual Simplex Challenge — a fun, fast-paced operating event designed to sharpen your skills and get you on the air!
📅 Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026 Logs Submitted by June 10th, 2026
🕛 Time: Noon – 4:00 PM (local time)
📡 Mode: 2M & 6M FM & SSB Phone > Simplex only
🔋 Power Limit: 50 watts

The KLARA Simplex Challenge is designed to:
Teach contest basics
Give new operators a chance to "exercise" their equipment
Provide an enjoyable springtime club activity
This is a fun contest. Good operating practices and good sportsmanship are part of the challenge

2026 GROUNDHOG HAMFEST
We’re excited to announce the Groundhog Day Hamfest 2026, sponsored by the Keuka Lake Amateur Radio Association (KLARA)! This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow hams, explore equipment, and enjoy a fun day celebrating amateur radio.
Date: Saturday, February 7, 2026
